Tallmadge health super market keeps CBD oil on racks despite state ban

A billboard on Main Street in Akron’s North Hill neighborhood continues to pitch the product for a local health food store despite a state ban on the sale of CBD oil.

In August, the Ohio Board of Pharmacy ruled that the purchase of CBD oil had been prohibited by Ohio aside from by dispensaries developed beneath the state’s medical cannabis legislation.

At that time, Akron-area retailers scrambled to get rid of CBD oil products from their shelves. Several chose to offer the thing that was kept inside their stock.

But Seven Grains Natural Market chose to hold fast. Co-owner Gina Krieger states that the CBD oil her store that is tallmadge in the billboard is not included in state law. Unless that legislation modifications, Krieger stated this woman is confident she’s providing a product that is legal.

“We are totally fine now to offer agriculture hemp-derived CBD,” Krieger stated. “There’s no psychoactive ingredient.”

Krieger stated her shop happens to be extremely wary about all of the services and products it offers.

“We are extremely careful that we align ourselves with quality organizations throughout the board,” she said.
